How Eagle Socotra supports you during the trip
Eagle monitors weather, sea conditions, roads and transport schedules and may adjust activities when necessary.
Guides carry a prepared first-aid kit and have completed first-aid training. Eagle maintains direct communication with the hospital and, when needed, works to arrange transport to medical care as quickly as available resources and local conditions allow.
Important to know: this support is not guaranteed medical evacuation, a private ambulance service or guaranteed rescue.

Communication and practical support on the island
Mobile service is available in some areas, but coverage depends on location. Eagle currently provides Starlink during its Tours, but continuous or uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.

Several governments currently advise against travel to Yemen, and some explicitly include Socotra. Government advice varies by issuer and applies to its own intended travelers. Before booking, read the latest advice relevant to your nationality from the UK FCDO, U.S. Department of State, Government of Canada and Australian Smartraveller, and discuss any uncertainty with your insurer and relevant authorities.
