Routes can change. Eagle Socotra currently assists with the Jeddah–Socotra sector and wider journey planning, but travelers should confirm the operating route, date and exact time for their trip before booking dependent travel. International flights may be booked independently and are not included in standard Tour prices.

Whether a visa or other entry permission is required depends on the traveler’s passport and circumstances. Eagle assists eligible travelers with the visa process, subject to approval by the relevant authorities. For the visa process Eagle currently assists with, Eagle currently states a visa cost of USD 150 per person and estimates about 3–5 days, sometimes up to about one week; reconfirm the process and cost for your case. Approval is not guaranteed.

There is no single ideal season for every trip. Wind, sea state, rain, temperature and highland conditions vary by place and period. Choose dates around the activities that matter to you, then confirm recent forecasts, transport and local conditions before departure.

Government advice on Yemen carries serious warnings, and some issuers explicitly include Socotra. Review the current advice issued for your nationality, check insurance implications and make your own informed decision. Eagle Socotra can explain current operating arrangements but cannot override official advice or guarantee safety.

Yemeni Rial (YER) is Yemen's national currency. For Eagle Tour payments, confirm the agreed cash currency before travel. Eagle currently collects the Tour-program payment in cash on arrival in Socotra on the first day, according to the agreed booking terms. Flights arranged by Eagle are paid in advance through Western Union. Travel insurance is not included.

Inclusions depend on the confirmed Tour or custom quotation. Eagle's current Tour programs include meals and drinks, and transport is arranged according to the confirmed program and group size. Camping equipment is available, but facilities and other services vary. Check the selected Tour's exact inclusion and exclusion list before booking.

Eagle’s available camping setup includes a tent, mattress, blanket, pillow, flashlight, chairs and basic dining items. Sleeping bags and soap are not provided, and showers and toilets are available only at some campsites. Confirm the setup included in your Tour.

Camels or porters can be arranged on request to help with luggage where appropriate. They are not automatically included in every trekking booking, so confirm this in your proposal.

Good general health. Hikes are 5-7 hours/day on uneven terrain.

Hiking boots, trekking poles, hat, sunscreen, light clothing, rain shell, water bottle, insect repellent, headlamp, and personal meds.

Purified water is provided. Bring a refillable bottle.

Guides carry a prepared first-aid kit and have completed first-aid training. Eagle maintains contact with the hospital and can work to arrange transport to medical care, subject to available resources and local conditions. This is not guaranteed medical evacuation, a private ambulance service or guaranteed rescue.

Eagle Socotra offers assistance with the drone-permit process, including local coordination and follow-up. The relevant authorities, not Eagle, decide whether permission is issued and where use is allowed. Approval is not guaranteed, so ask before bringing or using a drone.

Mobile service is available in some areas and depends on location. Starlink is currently available during Eagle Tours, but continuous or uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. Do not rely on uninterrupted connectivity.
